‘Outdoor’ non fee-paying independent primary school in Oxfordshire

A team of volunteers worked hard over the summer to get an ‘outdoor’ non fee-paying independent primary school ready to open in Cholsey, near Wallingford at 3:00pm on Friday 7th September. Ofsted inspectors have given permission for the independent school to be established at the former residential property.

The pupils will be taught outdoors for half the time they are at school and class sizes will be kept small.
The Treehouse School is not receiving any public funding, and seeks support through donations, sponsorship, trusts and grants.

We wish this innovative venture well.
